We have an team of coaches, supervisors and coach trainers, which can deliver face to face, telephone and Skype coaching in the UK or across the globe.

Coaching services

We offer 1-1 and group coaching for everyone in your organisation from graduates to senior managers. Our coaches bring experience of working in a diverse range of sectors, including senior management experience. Our coaching serves include:

  • Executive Coaching - aimed at senior managers
  • Management Coaching - aimed at managers, usually as part of a wider leadership programme
  • Performance Coaching - aimed those transitioning to new roles or seeking to make a step change in personal performance
  • Career Coaching - aimed at those reviewing their career or seeking a career change

Coach selection & development

Embrion has worked with ILM to develop a sophisticated coaching competence framework, using behavioural anchored rating scales. We can use this framework to help you select coaches prior to coach training, review the current development of coaches in your pool or programme personal development plans for members of your internal coaching pool.

Practical coaching supervision rooted in science

Embrion’s highly qualified team can provide in-house coaching supervision for your organisation, for both management and safety coaches. We can build programmes to address your own specific needs.

We tend to advocate between 3 and 4 supervision sessions per year, which typically include CPD, group and 1-1 personal supervision.

We can also provide supervision training for your more experienced coaches, including one of the UK’s few nationally recognised coach supervision programmes: the ILM Certificate in Coach Supervision.

Coaching culture

EMPOWER is our unique psychometric tool, which will allow you to collect the data required to assess your Organisational Coaching Culture. This specific audit identifies precise areas for further growth and development.



Duration: 3 days

This three day ILM qualification is ideal if you have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing your abilities. It’s particularly suited to practicing team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people through organizational change, budget cuts or other pressures.

Duration: 5 days

This five day ILM qualification in coaching is ideal if you are a manager with responsibility for coaching and mentoring as part of your day-to-day role. It will also support you if you are planning to move into a development role in your organization or start a career as a freelance coach and mentor.

The course includes three modules:

1. Understand the skills, principles and practice of effective management coaching and mentoring.
2. Undertake management coaching in the workplace.
3. Review your own ability as a management coach.

These three modules consist of 37 hours of study. In addition you will be expected to undertake 12 hours of coaching, plus additional reading and reflection.

Duration: 7 days

This 7 day ILM qualification is designed for managers, HR, OD professionals and those wanting to become a professional coach. It’s also for professional coaches and mentors seeking to enhance and accredit their experience with a nationally recognized qualification.

The course includes three modules:

1. Understand the Context of coaching and mentoring in a strategic business environment.
2. Undertake coaching at a senior or strategic level.
3. Review your own ability to perform effectively as a senior management coach.

These three moduless consist of 47 hours of structured learning. In addition you will be expected to undertake 20 hours of coaching with senior managers, plus additional reading and reflection.

Duration: 5 days

This five day ILM Level 5 qualification for Service Improvement offers two Certificates for the price of one. An ILM qualification in business improvement: ILM Cert in Service Improvement and in addition the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

The qualification is aimed at experienced team leaders or new department heads, project leads and middle managers with responsibility for service areas and who are looking for ways to improve performance and efficiency.

The programme covers two modules:

1. Preparing to apply service improvement methods
2. Applying service improvement methods
